Holiday Inn Irvine Spectrum in Lake Forest California, celebrated its first year anniversary on October 14, 2010. About a year ago in the midst of the "Great Recession", this "boutique" style hotel opened its doors to guest, who were awed by the contemporary design, as they walked through the front doors. Since then business has been steadily increasing with satisfied customers and great reviews on travel websites.

This new  full-service hotel is quickly becoming the preferred choice of business and leisure travelers to Orange County, due to its proximity to the John Wayne airport and attractions such as the Irvine Spectrum Center, the Saddleback Church and Disneyland.

The hotel consists of 148 modern guest rooms, restaurant and meeting rooms, in a five story building built over a subterranean parking structure. The site planning and design makes the most of 1.2 acre site. Special attention was given to sound control especially as a third of the guest rooms face one the busiest freeways in California. Guest are amazed at how quiet the rooms are when they draw the curtains and see the traffic whizzing by.
